About me
The outdoors.
Born in the 80s in Cologne and calling Switzerland my home since 2007. My greatest passion is storytelling and photography – my first savings were spent on an (analogue) camera. Today on the road in the mountains with an Olympus OM-1 & OM-5 and official OM Systems Ambassador. I’m enthusiastic about stories and experiences around the outdoors, as well as the question of how life can be lived more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
The indoors.
Since the end of my Master in 2010 at the University of Zurich I have been working in the field of digital marketing and brand management, both on agency and corporate side. Between 2014 and 2021 I’ve shaped the social media strategy at AXA Switzerland, from 2016 as Head of Social Media. In 2020, I started my part-time self-employment in the field of content marketing. I have been working for Switzerland Tourism since 2024 and am pursuing a second Master in Environment and natural resources at ZHAW.
